We are Castlebrook Digital and we provide services to develop websites and other related digital services. We are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of visitors to our web site. We are not in the business of selling, renting or otherwise trading email lists or other personal information to other companies or businesses. This document provides more information on how we try to meet these goals.

Website Cookies

Cookies on our website

We try to minimise the use of cookies of any sort on our website. We have specifically avoided the use of social media ‘Like’ or ‘Share’ buttons and as such our website should not place any cookies from such media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter etc.) on your computer. You should be aware that other sites may well leave such cookies on your system.

Currently we have not implemented any cookies on our website and using various development tools have determined that no cookies, either planned or unintended, are created by our website. What happens if I disable cookies?

Currently this should have no effect on the operation of our website.


Email Lists

As part of the registration process for our regular e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to be able to send you the newsletter to which you have subscribed ; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. The only information we store is your email address and your name as you have entered on our website subscription form We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter and as such your email address and name are stored on their systems. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice.
You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data protection officer at webmaster@castlebrookdigital.co.uk.


Access to your personal information

Under the newly introduced GDPR rules, you have the right to access and amend any of your personal data that we may hold.
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information by making a request to our data protection officer at webmaster@castlebrookdigital.co.uk.


Changes to this Privacy Policy

As our website evolves and as privacy laws develop and are implemented we will regularly review this document to ensure that a) it keeps you fully informed of how our website protects your privacy and b) maintains compliance with applicable privacy laws. Should this privacy policy change we will provide notices of such update on our website and include such information in our regular newsletter.
